The spring safety system of this series of Simmons cone crushers is an overload protection device, which can allow metal foreign objects to pass through the crushing chamber without harming the machine. It adopts a dry oil sealing form to isolate the stone powder from the lubricating oil, ensuring reliable operation.

Simmons cone crusher is a modern high-performance crusher designed and developed based on the principle of laminated crushing and the concept of more crushing and less grinding, based on the introduction and absorption of foreign technology and customer needs. It integrates high swing frequency, optimized cavity shape, and reasonable stroke.

It can be widely used in industries such as metal and non-metal minerals, cement plants, construction, and sand and gravel metallurgy. It can crush non-ferrous metal ores, granite, limestone, quartzite, sandstone, pebbles, etc.

Work Principle

The spring cone crusher consists of a moving cone and a fixed cone to form the crushing chamber.

The movable cone is pressed onto the main shaft (hard shaft), with one end of the main shaft inserted into the conical hole of the eccentric shaft sleeve.

The eccentric shaft sleeve cone hole is equipped with a bronze liner or nylon liner.

When the transmission gear drives the eccentric shaft sleeve to rotate, the main shaft that penetrates deep into the eccentric shaft sleeve drives the movable cone to make a swinging motion, causing the movable cone surface to move away from and close with the fixed cone, resulting in crushing and discharging of ore. 

Product Details

The adjustment device and locking mechanism of the spring cone crusher mainly consist of an adjustment ring, a support ring, a locking nut, a pushing oil cylinder, and a locking cylinder. The support ring is installed on the upper part of the frame and is tightly attached to the frame with the help of springs around the crusher. When the crusher is working, high-pressure oil enters the locking cylinder to raise the piston, slightly lifting the locking nut and adjusting ring, so that the serrated threads of the two are tightly fitted with a sloping surface. 

When adjusting the discharge port, the locking cylinder needs to be depressurized to loosen the serrated thread, and then the hydraulic system is activated to push the cylinder, thereby driving the adjustment ring to rotate left or right. With the help of serrated thread transmission, the fixed cone can be raised and lowered to achieve the purpose of adjusting the discharge port.
