Process Overview: 150TPH Heavy Minerals Spiral Separation Plant
This processing line utilizes a systematic three-stage gravity separation method to recover heavy minerals from seaside sand. The workflow is divided into the following key phases:

Feeding and Screening: Slurry is delivered by a dredge pump to a trommel screen with a 2mm mesh. This stage removes +2mm oversize waste sand, while the 0-2mm undersize slurry is collected in an agitation tank to ensure even distribution of solid materials.
Primary Separation (1st Stage): The balanced slurry is pumped to the first stage of spiral separation, which comprises 48 sets of spiral chutes. This stage effectively separates the material into concentrate, middling, and tailings.
Middling and Tailing Management:Middlings from the 1st stage are sent to a second stage consisting of 16 spiral chutes for further recovery.
Tailings from the primary stage are discharged into dedicated tanks and pumped to a disposal site approximately 100 meters away.
Final Concentration (3rd Stage): The concentrates produced from both the 1st and 2nd stages are directed to a third stage of spiral chutes for final concentration, ensuring a high-grade mineral output.
This configuration ensures maximum recovery efficiency by re-circulating middlings and providing multiple stages of refinement for the concentrate.
