Spiral washing machine is widely used for washing all kinds of easy-washing and difficult-to-wash ore. If the ore contains more than 20% mud, it will block the crusher and the chute. The spiral washing machine can make the ore with more than 20% mud be stirred and scrubbed in the washing machine to achieve the purpose of separating the ore from the mud. The washed ore is discharged from the discharge port, and the muddy water is discharged from the tailing end. The equipment is matched with the trommel scrubber washing machine, and it is currently a relatively effective washing equipment for processing difficult-to-wash ore.

Structure

 
The spiral washing machine is mainly composed of transmission device, spiral, tank body, lower support, overflow trough, etc. It Includes:
1. Transmission Device: It is the power of the spiral work. The spiral rotation is driven by the motor through the V-belt, reducer and gear.
2. Spiral: The main working part of the machine, which plays the role of stirring the minerals. The main shaft is a square shaft welded by channel steel. The upper end is installed on the frame of the transmission device, and the lower
end is installed on the lower support. The spiral blade is welded by spring steel plate.
3. Tank Body: It is the body of the machine, which is welded by various section steels and steel plates.
4. Lower Support: Its role is to support the screw shaft.
5. Overflow Trough: Discharge muddy water and debris.

Working Principle

Spiral washing machine removes clays and other deleterious materials by material-on-material inter-particle scrubbing, as well as the interaction with the paddle shafts and water. For clay contaminated hard rock and ore, it needs more aggressive washing action than any other type of ore available. The left and right spiral shafts complete ore scrubbing and lifting, also convey the material over the machine length to the discharge.
 
The installation angle of the equipment is 10°~14°. When it works, the two screw shafts in the tank rotate in opposite directions. The material is fed into the middle of the two screw shafts from the lower part of the tank body from the overflow end about 1/3. And the coarse ore is in the tank through the repeated copy washing of the blades, it is transported to the front end to be discharged, and then sprayed to wash to reach the qualified ore when discharged. The mud and sand washed from the ore flow out through the overflow weir at the back of the tank and become tailings. It is better to muddy the fed ore through a water gun first to achieve a better washing effect.
