Overview

Diamond wash plants, also known as diamond processing plants or diamond recovery plants, are specialized facilities designed for extracting and processing alluvial diamonds in rivers, beaches and diamond-rich deposits.

Diamond Mining Process

The diamond beneficiation production line is very similar to the sand gold production line. They usually consist of a washing machine plus a sorting machine. Ore washing equipment can be divided into trommel screen and rotary scrubber according to the different mud content. The separator usually uses a jig machine.

1. Washing and Screening Trommel scrubber and vibrating screen are used to remove impurities such as clay and mud, and the materials are graded at the same time.

2. Gravity separator Diamonds have a higher specific gravity than gangue and are suitable for separation with a jig separator. Diamonds settle to the bottom under the action of water flow and vibration, while lighter impurities float on the water surface and are discharged with the overflow.

3.Diamond recovery The heavy fraction containing the diamonds is further processed to recover the diamonds. Various methods can be employed, including X-ray sorting, grease tables, and hand sorting, depending on the size and quality of the diamonds.

4. Diamond rock crushing For some sandstone mixed ores and rock diamond ores, crushing is required before beneficiation. Jaw crusher is commonly used.

Diamond Processing equipment

1. Trommel scrubber

Trommel scrubber is a good diamond mining equipment for diamond clay mine washing, The trommel is primarily used to remove water-soluble clays, deleterious materials and coatings providing a cleaner product. Our trommels washing screen are notable for its economy and efficiency, whether it is used in cleaning sand, gravel, or washing crushed stone and various ores.

2. Vibrating Screening

Vibrating Screening is another important part, it is used to separate material according to its size. Material is typically fed to a single-, double- or triple-deck screen to make the required sizes. The main water pipe of the vibrating screen adopts flange joint, which can easily connect the external water pipe with the machine. Through spray high-pressure water, it separates and washes material to obtain a good sieving effect.

3. Jig separator

Jig separator (jig concentrator, jig machine) is a mining gravity separation equipment that drives pulses of water upwards through
a thick bed of settled sediment to keep it loose and agitated. This achieves gravitational separation by allowing the denser
minerals to sink easily and quickly through the lighter minerals.

Capacity: 200 tons per hour

Diamond Mining Equipment: First use vibration feeder to feeding material to trommel scrubber, After trommel scrubber for washing clean, and separator big size out, then to vibration screen. Vibration screen also for separator different size.

Diamond Mining and Processing: The capacity is for 200 tons per hour, First use backhoe get material to hopper, under hopper have a vibration feeder, vibration feeder can separator out +70mm size, then 0-70mm size to trommel scrubber, trommel scrubber is had two part, one part scrubber is for washing, one part screen is for separator different size. After trommel scrubber then to vibration screen, separator size again then can use jig machine get diamond.

This 200 tons per hours diamond separator line is have working for one year, and it has got good effect, for now, this customer want open another 200 tons per hours line, our engineer has to go mine site for inspecting, first can check the existing diamond processing plant, most things are good, but also some details can make more perfect, Our factory is a progress factory, we need to make the diamond process machine more and more perfect, besides checking the existing alluvial diamond mining equipment, also need to check the new diamond mining equipment, base the one new ore site, to choose the best diamond processing machine.

100tph complete alluvial diamond wash plant

This setup is a 100tph complete alluvial diamond wash plant, the raw material is 0-250mm alluvial diamond ore with sticky clay, the diamond size is around 5-20mm. It is configured with vibrating feeder DN3896 with gap 75mm grizzly bar, one set swing feeder under the bin, JXSC-1500 trommel scrubber, one set single layer high-frequency vibration screen JXSC-1860, one set three layers high-frequency vibration screen JXSC-1860,3 sets jig separator, 6 sets belt conveyors.

(1) The truck unloads the 0-250mm diamond ore into the vibrating feeder; the +75mm scrap will be separated by the vibrating feeder grizzly bar and transferred by 1st conveyor to the first stockpile.

(2) The vibrating feeder feeds the -75mm ores evenly to the trommel scrubber to wash and separate by 5mm,20mm mesh. The 0-5mm material will be sent to the tailing pool by a trough. 5-20mm material will be sent to the first vibrating screen for further cleaning and dewatering, and 20-75mm material will be sent to the second stockpile by 2nd conveyor.

(3) The 5-20mm washed materials after washing and dewatering will be transferred to the storage bin equipped with one small feeder under the bin.

(4) The materials 5-20mm will be sent to the next high-frequency vibration screen. It will be separated into 3 size ranges: 0-10mm, 10-15mm 15-20mm. Each size will be equipped with one jig concentrator to concentrate.
